Welcome to JVES!

The Juniata Valley Elementary houses grades K-5. We currently have three homerooms per grade level. We provide Title 1 Reading Support, Learning Support, Life Skills Support, Autistic Support, and Gifted Support services. We provide standards based curricular opportunities as well as many hands on experiences through engaging activities. 

During the course of the year our staff and student work collaboratively with the community to bring as many experiences to our students as possible. Each grade level participates in field trips, STEM activities, lessons and activities with Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center and much more.

JVES is recognized at the state level for our School Wide Positive Behavior Support Program. This program provides support for students both academically and behaviorally and recognizes students for doing great things and following the 3B’s. Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe. With the help of our PTO this program allows us to provide celebrations for our students at the end of each marking period. 

We also provide many after school events including: Family Reading Night, Art Club, Reading Club, Science Club, and after school Tutoring/Homework Club.

At JVES we take pride in giving our students as many experiences as possible. We make learning fun and engaging while also ensuring that the students are meeting grade level standards. We are fortunate to have the support from our community and school board in order to do so.
