Yesterday afternoon, a student left campus without permission and was unaccounted for despite immediate response efforts. School staff quickly initiated search procedures and contacted Pennsylvania State Police, who responded promptly and conducted an extensive search operation throughout the evening using multiple resources.

We are relieved to share that the student was located safely this morning after seeking assistance at a residence near Huntingdon. She is currently receiving appropriate care and support.

We understand that situations like this can be concerning for families and our community. Please know that the safety of our students is always our highest priority. Staff followed established protocols, worked closely with law enforcement, and remained actively engaged in efforts to locate the student as quickly as possible.

We are grateful to the Pennsylvania State Police and community members who assisted in the search. Out of respect for the student’s privacy, we will not be sharing additional details at this time.
