Morning Announcements

  • Today will follow the C schedule.
  • 5th Grade Chorus will be meeting today during recess.
  • Congratulations boys and girls!  Your Super Hero Celebration will be TOMORROW!  Wear your super hero outfits and bring your super powers with you!
  • Congratulations to the following students for being chosen for the specialist spotlight.  Kindergarten-Jensyn Myers, 1st grade-Ellaina Weirich, 2nd grade-Brycen Lewis, 3rd grade-Ricky Mease, 4th grade-Lilly Sunderland, and 5th grade-Makana Moskel.  Please report to the gym following announcements for your certificate and pictures.  Keep up the good work!!!
  • The Box Top and Dime Blitz is underway. Students gather up your hornet bucks and get a class bid together as we have a bag of box tops here in the office that are up for bids.   Teachers please email your classes bid to Mrs. Harpster by NOON on the 24th. The highest bidding classroom will get to add our bag of box tops to their classes total.
  • Tomorrow is the last day to order your shirt for the varsity boys' basketball teams "Hoops for Healthy Hearts" game next Friday, January 25 against the Glendale Vikings. 
  • Have you heard about the 3rd grade classes fundraiser?  For $5 you can buy a ticket to the New Lego 2 Movie to be shown on Saturday, February 9th at the movie theater in Huntingdon.  If you’re interested in purchasing tickets place your order form and money into the morning envelope.
  • Congratulations to the following students who were on the winning row of the Principals 100 Chart: Kenzi Harpster, Ryan Taylor, Carter Hoffmaster, James Irvin, Sylus Fellman, Eve McCrum, Kayce Trimer, Alan Hershey, Addy Foster, and Blayke-Lynn Boyd.  These students should report to the office immediately following the announcements.  Carter was our lucky winner within the row so Mrs. McGinnis’s whole class earns a special prize too!
  • Students taking CLARINET lessons remember you will have practice tomorrow after announcements.
